The Sculpture Center connects Cleveland and its visitors with the artists and inspired three-dimensional and installation art of Ohio and our greater region. In the fall season, visitors to The Sculpture Center can see the sculptural or installation work of rapidly rising, mid-career, and established artists from this geographical region. Throughout the winter and spring, the visitor can explore the most current trends in sculpture making through the work of four to six early career Ohio sculptors showcased in the Window to Sculpture Series of one-person exhibitions. In the summer months, visitors can view the artwork of over 20 artists in the extremely popular and critically acclaimed annual exhibition of small sculpture by artists from this geographical region, juried by a preeminent artist.

With a relaxed, inclusive atmosphere, The Sculpture Center invites first time visitors, including children, youth, and teenagers, to enjoy the artwork or to consider the ideas and cultural currents suggested by the art. Sculpture is often as fun and visually surprising as it is thought provoking, and everyone can relate to its sizes, shapes, and textures. The Sculpture Center welcomes clubs and groups from school age to senior for tours, with a prior appointment. There is ample free parking and handicap accessibility.

The Sculpture Center gives public access to artists through talks and panels that reveal the creative artistic mind and explore the highly original use of materials and technologies by today’s artists. The Sculpture Center encourages the collection of sculpture, and its exhibitions often provide the opportunity for the purchase of works of art.
