CALL TO ARTISTS FOR ONLINE SUBMISSIONS
DEADLINE: Monday, October 27th
SPARC (Social & Public Art Resource Center, Venice, CA) once again summons the power of art to inspire people to collectively mobilize towards social change. In keeping with SPARC’s philosophy, the “Death of the Bush Era: What Next?” exhibition seeks to foster awareness, exploration, and understanding of the political issues afflicting us today.
The SPARC Gallery would like to invite multi-media artists, from around the corner and around the world, to submit to our on-line gallery. We are seeking digital representations of artists’ work: film/video, paintings, graphics, or sound work for SPARC’s exhibit “Death of the Bush Era: WHAT NEXT?” Works will be selected for their appropriateness to the theme and will be featured on a large plasma screen during the November 1st election.
To be considered, please submit digital representations of your work to SPARC’s website at www.sparcmurals.org.
For more information, please go to www.sparcmurals.org or call 310/822-9560 for further questions.
