I have been fortunate to have art in my life as long as I can remember....
Happily I grew up in a household bursting with creativity, my father, a professional musician - my mother, an artist.  I was exposed to many creative processes from an early age & while I enjoy and explore other medium's, creating textile collage is my passion.

Growing up and living in Los Angeles I appreciate how the city weaves together a multitude of heritages & cultures.  I try to capture this in my art, by piecing together Antique fabrics & findings that represent these wonderfully diverse communities. Through these beautiful vintage textiles, I feel a strong connection with the Quilters ,Weavers, & Artisans of long ago.

 It gives me great pleasure to resurrect these pieces of the past -many of them labors of love-into the present.
