Shadows of memory, lost love and spiritual inquiry are the subjects of Jimmy Bleyer’s emotional mixed media works. Handcrafting panels from reclaimed woods, Jimmy favors acrylic, ink and spray paint to create his tightly executed ‘dreamland artifacts’. At once romantic, mysterious and illusory, Jimmy’s enigmatic work is featured in numerous collections across the US.

In addition to his residency at the Hive Gallery, he is co-founder of the beloved guerrilla print company Lost Cause Society with Walt Hall and is a regular fixture at art events and galleries across Southern California, most notably art tastemakers Cannibal Flower, Create:Fixate, Hyaena Gallery, Truxtop Gallery, Monkeyhouse Toys, Carmichael Gallery of Contemporary Art and the new ISM: Gallery
