The exhibition Interactions: Armory Artists and their Art features the works of artists in the Armory’s current Fellowship program.  The exhibition will be on view at Armory Northwest from April 22 – June 17. On Saturday, April 21, 7-9 p.m., there will be a public opening reception for the artists.

The exhibition Interactions: Armory Artists and their Art features diverse artworks by these artists.  The Armory Fellowship program provides current graduate students and post-graduate MFAs in art with extensive training in teaching children and youth about art. These artists share their artwork and artistic inspiration in an exhibition that engages visitors in understanding a broad range of creative processes and themes such as symbolism, materialism, figuration and abstraction. The work featured in the exhibition includes a range of media including painting, drawing, sculpture, video and installation.

The artists in the show are Steven Bankhead, Quinton Bemiller, Elonda Billera, Sean Gall, Ivan Limas, Anna Oxygen, Kat Ross and Hataya Tubtim.   The exhibition is curated by Lorraine Cleary Dale, the Armory’s Director of Professional Development and in charge of the Fellowship program.

Armory Northwest is located at 965 N. Fair Oaks Avenue in Pasadena.  Free parking is available.  Exhibition hours are Thursday through Saturday, noon – 5 p.m.  Admission is free.
