The Contemporary Jewish Museum is opening tomorrow, June 8th, in their new Daniel Libeskind designed building near the Yerba Buena Center.  Admission to the museum on opening day is FREE.

Tonight they are holding a special event to honor the Jewish holiday of Shavuot, Dawn '08, a program for young adults opening the museum one night early from 8pm to 3am with screenings, live music and readings.  The band Dengue Fever is performing and Jonathan Safran Foer, author of Everything is Illuminated, will be there.  Advance tickets are sold out but you can still get tickets at the door throughout the evening for $15.
