> DESCRIPTION

The Slimm Buick Browning tenZeldam Sideshow will appear on Saturday, June 14th from 11am to 6pm in the backyard home of Justine & Slimm Buick, 1915 High Street, Alameda, CA 94501. Slimm's hand-made collection of deliciously creepy little dolls, bugs and amphibians will be on display, for all ages to, ahem, enjoy. Other, less "scary", art will be on display as well including Art Bikes, signed watercolors, prints, former SF MOMA pieces, and more.

Slimm's Sideshow was most recently visited by the throngs who visited the magnificent Dunsmuir Historic Estate in Oakland, CA, at the last Gatsby Summer Afternoon in Oakland, and then enjoyed an exclusive showing at LeColonialSF on Halloween, ‘07. These friendly, yet sometimes scary, little creatures are sure to delight those who dare! Kids always seem to love them, but sometimes have to talk their parents down off the ledge ...

For info or exclusive photos or an interview with artist, give a shout! Email is dandy, but so is a phone call ... 510-846-1019/6809.

Note: Our "creatures" are made primarily from discarded vintage items - coats, purses, clothing, odds and ends, and a lot of hot glue. Absolutely no animals were harmed in the creation of this exhibit!
